If you are a videophile, maybe you have bought piles of DVDs and BDs home, because you feel not good enough just watch once at theater. What upsets you is that even you have paid for the movies and brought them home, you are actually still under the control of publishers. Sundry encryption techniques don't allow you to enjoy the movie elsewhere, nor you are allowed to play back freely. We totally understand their protection of intellectual property, but as consumer, we should have the right to get the most from the property we bought. I think that's fair and reasonable as long as we are not for illegal purpose.

The included digital copies would be helpful, but many of them are placed on disc, too. Or for newer ones, you can download them from iTunes with the code provided. However, unless you are very organized person, you can't make sure the code is kept safely before you want to copy from iTunes, especially when you have kids at home… So why not try another way? To copy and backup Blu-ray movies to PC, you need a tool that sets you free from publishers' control. I will give you a full walkthrough of how to copy Blu-ray movies to local disc.
